Summit Suite of Software ("The Software")
MIE Software Partnering Program ("The Program")

Carefully read the following terms and conditions regarding your involvement in The Program. By joining The Program, you indicate that you have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions of becoming involved in The Program.

End-User Satisfaction
The products you market are complex and require high-quality, individualised pre-sale and post-sale support. High end-user satisfaction is a condition of your involvement. To ensure high end-user satisfaction, you agree to:

  1. Ensure that The Software marketed to the end-user is appropriate to the end-user's needs
  2. Verify the successful operation of The Software after installation
  3. Report promptly to MIE all suspected and actual problems with The Software
  4. Conduct business in a manner that reflects favourably at all times on The Software and the good will and reputation of MIE
  5. Avoid deceptive, misleading or unethical practices that are or might be detrimental to MIE or The Software
  6. Refrain from making any false or misleading representations with regard to MIE or The Software
  7. Refrain from making any representations, warranties, or guaranties to customers or other third parties with respect to the specific features or capabilities of The Software that are inconsistent with the literature distributed by MIE.

Support
Post-sale support is the responsibility of MIE. However to maintain high end-user satisfaction you agree to the following:

  1. Provide MIE with a thorough brief of all pre-sale activities and end-user requirements as well as submit a Computer Environment Checklist upon registration of sale.
  2. If required, to be involved with any initial post-sale support to further ensure high end-user satisfaction.

Training
Training in The Software may be carried out by either MIE or yourself. MIE will extend preferential treatment to those accredited in The Software in relation to client training opportunities. To ensure high end-user satisfaction you agree to the following:

  1. Provide every attendee with a copy of the Summit Training Notes
  2. Submit a Training Evaluation form as well as at least one completed by an attendee to MIE with 7 days of the training session.

Software Modifications
If any software modifications are requested during pre-sale discussions you agree to present any requests to MIE before the finalisation of the sale. MIE will evaluate the feasibility of the request and if it is possible, will provide you with a quote. This quote will also indicate the time required to complete with the earliest possible completion date.

Data Conversions - Summit Central
Summit Central has an existing and rather extensive import routine. If any data conversions, beyond the capabilities of the standard import routine, are required you agree to present any requests to MIE before the finalisation of the sale

MIE Software will evaluate the feasibility of the data conversion request and if it is possible, will provide a quote. This quote will also indicate the time required to complete the data conversion with an earliest possible completion date.

Termination
If you no longer wish to be a part of The Program then 30 days written notice is required and all details of any pending sales must be handed over to MIE prior to the end of notice.

MIE may terminate the relationship with you if at any time the terms and conditions have not been met.
