New Features

Modified event activity report so that only accompanying people of confirmed delegates are counted.
Modified tax invoice and adjustment note creation process so that unnecessary adjustment notes and tax invoices are not created if tax invoice line description is blank (Null). Also prevents creation of blank tax invoice lines for sponsorship and advertising when no sponsorship details of advertising details have been entered.
Modified get Summit Central PIN on Extra Details screen to do a secondary search on surname only if initial search criteria returned no matches.
Modified initialisation process to set last on-line update check to current date for newly installed/updated software.
Increased maximum lengths of strings passed to WebLink from 100 to 250 characters.

Added Accompanying People to Event Activity report.

Fixes

Corrected an error with on-line registration processing where a person who did not have any payment for registration type or add-ons but did have payment for accommodation or travel could have an incorrect amount paid figure calculated.

New Features

Modified Internet Assistant to check length of special diet. If event file was created with an older version of the software (when there was a maximum of 50 characters for special diet), the special diet is truncated to 50 characters and the details of the truncation are reported in the Internet Activity Log so that the user can edit.
Changed report preview process for better performance under Office 2007 by ensuring that only reports with after open formatting use the Access 2007 acReportView format.
When importing a record from a master database using the Personal Details screen, user now has the choice of having the incoming record automatically marked as a potential delegate or not.
Added the ability to export the current person's details on the Personal Details screen to a Summit Central master database.
Modified Internet Assistant so that when registrations had notes and/or special needs both were picked upinto notes even if one was blank.
Modified organising tasks by category report to do secondary sort by start date.

Modified display of Correspondence for better previewing under Access 2007.

Fixes

Corrected a situation where Int function could return a number one less than initial number resulting in hotel room GST being understated by 1 cent.
Corrected an error where date of birth did not display correctly on Reporter listings where add-on or session were part of the selection criteria.

From 9.39 - 9.40 (released 04 March 2008)

New Features

When updating extra details - passport, accompanying person and diet on the Extra Details screen, these details can now be immediately updated in the master database.
Increased warnings on using non GST Inclusive room rates for MIE WebLink pages when setting up hotel rooms. Also, system now prevents creation of an event web file if there is GST for a hotel room and the hotel room is not marked as GST Inclusive.
Booth construction details report now shows booth type from Booths form.
Changes the 'Booth Type' to display the booth type entered in the Setup menu, rather than the 'Stand Type' selected in the Trade screen in the "Booth Construction Details" report.
New extended export from Reporter showing name and address details plus first three add-ons, first accommodation record, first four travel records and first four transfer records for each person.
On registration screen, in addition to the calendar controls, any blank date fields can have the current date inserted by double-clicking in the field.
Modified checking for link to Summit Central master file to not check if file is only the demo - demo.mmd.
New extended function attendance list for tabled functions showing accompanying persons, position, division and organisation.
Added Date of Birth as a column choice for Name Plus.. Reports.

From 9.38 - 9.39 (released 23 January 2008)

New Features

New report: Transfers by date with no page breaks report showing incoming flight numbers.
Enhanced arrival date/departure date relationship checking on Accommodation screen when calendar controls are used to determine dates.
Added new report that shows main person's name with count, accompanying person name with count, organisation and registration type details.
Increased automated links between Summit Event Manager and Summit Central. When importing registrations via the Internet Assistant the software will attempt to determine the Summit Central PIN. On Reporter, you can now select records without a Summit Central PIN and Summit Central PIN is now an option on name plus… listings.
Added Summit Central PIN as a column option for Reporter Name Plus… listings.
Increased length of registration type text from 50 characters to 255 characters. Only applies to event files created using software version 9.39 or higher.
Newly installed software will now check/refresh link to the master database.
Added new reports: 'Participants without Flights' and 'Participants without Transfers'.

Fixes

Corrected an error where page headers and footers did not hide correctly on e-mailed correspondence.
Corrected an error where accompanying people with no family name were not counted on the main person and accompanying person listing.

Corrected an error when processing Internet registrations when there is information for an accompanying person without the equivalent information for the primary person.
Corrected an issue where payments did not always allocate correctly under Windows Vista and Office 2007.

From 9.36 - 9.37 (released 07 December 2007)

New Features

Added ability to automatically mark student assignments.
When importing registrations via the Internet Assistant the matching record in a Summit Central master database can be automatically matched up. Once matched, any address changes made in the event file can be automatically mirrored in the master database. Users can also match up a Summit Central master database record from the Extra Details form. NOTE: Only works with Summit Central, not with Summit Contact Manager.
Added date of birth and gender as fields that can be brought in in registrations via the Internet Assistant.
Increased length of text fields for hotel billing methods, user defined prompts and fields and profiles. Only applies to events created using version 9.37 or higher.
If present in registration e-mail, Flight Counter is now added to travel records so that they are included in block bookings.
Modified Programmer by Family Name report to show Photo Received check box.
Modified payments processed today report so that allocation totals display in Print Preview as well as when printed.

From 9.34 - 9.35 (released 19 July 2007)

New Features

When user selects 'Check for Free Software Updates' from the Web Resources menu the web page now displays their current software version and advises which update file to download.

Fixes

Corrected a problem where if description of event charges was not "Event Charges" total shown on income reconciliation report as receipted against event was understated.
Corrected an error where SMS messages were not sent correctly.

Modifications

Modified check for unregistered software opening large data files so that user is given the chance to register software immediately.
Modified Install Custom Update process so that update files are no longer restricted to being named 'sempu.cdb'. They can now be any name beginning wth 'sempu' and ending with '.cdb', for example sempuclientName14July2007.cdb. This is to make it easier for clients with multiple custom updates to identify and archive separate updates more effectively.
Modified hotel definition area so that a hotel can not be marked as Show In MIE WebLink unless at least one room at that hotel is also marked as Show In MIE WebLink. Also, no hotel room can be marked as Show In MIE WebLink without it's hotel also being marked as Show In MIE WebLink.
Lengthened Accompanying Person Special Needs in Internet Assistant temporary tables.
Standardised time formats on all forms to be Medium Time. Global Form Time Format Change can now be run more consistently to generate desired standard user time format.
Modified display of add-ons on Income Reconciliation Report so that add-ons display by display sequence then alphabetical description instead of just by display sequence.
Modified mde file so that progress bar displays fully when opening an event file.

From 9.33 - 9.34 (released 28 June 2007)

New Features

Added PIN to export from Reporter to facilitate production of unique scannable barcodes by external name badge producers.
Added subject to SMSData table so Subject can be specified on SMS e-mails.
New macros to globally change all form and report currency controls to a generic format that uses the currency format defined in Regional and Language Options in the Windows Control Panel.

Fixes

Corrected an error where a person with a PIN of 1 would remain identified as a session chair, even after deleting all sessions that they were marked as session chair for.

Presentations Importer can now import Session Counter, Order In Session, Presentation Type, Paper Start Time, Paper Duration and Abstract Status if they are present in the Abstracts Manager export file.
Modified Presentations Importer so that if the same presenter is giving multiple presentations on the same import file and they are not on the event file they are only added once.

Reports:

New Reporter listing showing Primary Person Name, Accompanying Person Name and Total Owing grouped by State, then Division in Primary Person surname order within Division.
Added organisation as a selection criteria to the Contacts Reporter.

Other:

Added Avery L7161 (18 labels per page) to available address label stationery.
Added more shortcut keys to open specific screens from anywhere in the software. Ctrl+F5 opens Create Event Programme, Ctrl+F6 opens Reporter and Ctrl+F7 opens Organiser
Background of text lines on name badge/ticket design can be set to Transparent so that underlying graphics are displayed behind the text.

Fixes

Correction of display fault on the Profit and Loss (Budget Versus Actual) report which left a gap in the income section.
Modified Internet Assistant log so that a missing hotel booking does not show on the log as an error.

Modifications

Modified GST Receipts and Payments report so that outgoing GST payments are still displayed even if no tax invoices or adjustment notes have yet been raised.
Modified processing of Internet registrations so that if user does not pick an advertising source on a MIE WebLink on-line registration page "None Selected" is not added as a new advertising source.
Modified event open pull-down list so that longer path names are fully displayed.
Modified name badge and letterhead design forms so that they no longer require the third party slider bars.
Modified user defined prompt length for Summit and WebLink to be 200 characters long instead of 20.
Changed contact details from text to memo to enable longer contact details to be recorded.
Modified registration desk worklist so that user can automatically mark all people on the registration desk worklist as being at event and as having been given their satchel.

From 9.30 - 9.31 (released 18 October 2006)

New Features
Importing/Exporting:

Added Presentations Importer to import presentations from an Abstracts Manager export file.
New feature to export accounting information in a format that can be imported by accounting software packages such as MYOB.
New function to export session attendance information in a single row per person format regardless of how many sessions each person is attending (maximum of 82 sessions per person). Called from Event reports as Session Attendance Export.

Reports:

Added an event activity export function to Event Reports. Exports delegate name, accompanying person name, organisation and registration type and add-ons.
New Reporter listing showing Primary Person Name, Accompanying Person Name and Total Owing grouped by State, then Division in Primary Person surname order within Division.
New exception reports. Confirmed full and partial delegates without sessions and confirmed full delegates without add-ons.

Added ability to record a transaction charge as well as commission percentage against payment types. Requires that event file is version 9.28 or higher.
Added display of credit card name to accommodation and travel reports.
New hot key. Ctrl+N on the Personal Details screen now creates a new record.
New Global Option: The optional ability to print a delegate reference on the second and subsequent pages of tax invoices. This is to make it easier to identify delegates that don't send back the front page of tax invoices with their payments.

Fixes

Corrected an error on Internet tabling and seating.
Corrected an error that could occur when repairing the income reconciliation report if event charges text has been altered and there is an imbalance.
Corrected an error where a user could delete the record of a person that was not involved in the event in any way from the Personal Details screen without being warned of the potential deletion.
Corrected an error where printed tickets were reprinted when asking for new tickets for a catering event.

Modifications

Modified Internet Assistant to trap users entering very long strings of characters.
Changed Accounting Export to record sale date as short date instead of general date.
Modified Internet Assistant to force Internet events log to always be sorted by Counter.
Extended length of user defined fields in event web file template to 100 characters.

SMS Text Messaging - NEW - Individually via a person's record or in bulk via the Reporter with full contact recording of details. Registration of sending (not receiving) e-mail address is required.
PDF E-Mail Overlay (Times New Roman format) - As been included. Requires an Activation Code to access.
Report - NEW - Added Session Attendance Summary Report showing maximum number and space remaining for each session.
