Update Details

Check what your current version of Summit SafeGuard is by selecting About Summit... from the Help Menu. Your current version number will be displayed at the top of the About Summit screen after the words Summit SafeGuard Version

Update your software (Link to another page)

From 2.00.0006 - 3.00.02 (released 29 June 2007) Please note that this update will overwrite your existing software. Please make backups of any customisations/modifications that you have made prior to running this update so that they can be reinstalled.

Corrected an error where version 2 registration details did not carry over to version 3.
Modified row checking function so that only the number of rows of user data are counted and compared. Rows of system data are not included. This is to prevent a valid compaction/repair incident with no loss of user data from causing the compacted file to be rejected due to a row count.

From 2.00.0005 - 2.00.0006 (released 15 December 2005) Please note that this update will overwrite your existing software. Please make backups of any customisations/modifications that you have made prior to running this update so that they can be reinstalled.

Modified dialog box to make the selection of files to be compacted easier.
Added ability for Software Registration form to e-mail MIE exactly what is being entered on the form.

From 2.00.0004 - 2.00.0005 (released 17 January 2005) Please note that this update will overwrite your existing software. Please make backups of any customisations/modifications that you have made prior to running this update so that they can be reinstalled.

Modified startup process so that unregistered software message is not displayed if software is set to auto start.
Modified software registration process so that registered users can no longer accidentally "unregister" themselves.

From 2.00.0003 - 2.00.0004 (released 3 September 2004) Please note that this update will overwrite your existing software. Please make backups of any customisations/modifications that you have made prior to running this update so that they can be reinstalled.

Added the ability for Summit SafeGuard to shutdown computer at the end of the compact and backup process plus added display of last modified date and time and before and after file size to compact and backup log.
Modified error checking to look for MSysCompactError table instead of MSysCompactErrors.
Modified Summit SafeGuard to be able to run as an automated, unattended Windows scheduled task.
