A text file containing information on which program to automatically execute when the CD is inserted into a CD drive.

cdinst.exe

This is the program that should automatically execute when the CD is inserted into a CD drive. This program installs a program on the computer called MIE Software Installer. Once installed, the MIE Software Installer will guide you through installing the products from the CD and running the demonstrations. Note that on some computers you will need to run this program twice to correctly install the MIE Software Installer. Once you have successfully run this program once you should not run it again on that computer.

comctl32.exe

This program installs an updated copy of the Microsoft Control comctl32.ocx. You should run this program before installing Summit Pro 2000, the Summit Data Collector, the Summit Viewer, MIE People or the MIE People Viewer. After running this program you should register the control by selecting Start, then Run, then entering regsvr32.exe comctl32.ocx and then clicking OK.
