A text file containing information on which program to automatically execute when the CD is inserted into a CD drive.

cdinst.exe

This is the program that should automatically execute when the CD is inserted into a CD drive. This program installs a program on the computer called MIE Software Installer. Once installed, the MIE Software Installer will guide you through installing the products from the CD and running the demonstrations. Note that on some computers you will need to run this program twice to correctly install the MIE Software Installer. Once you have successfully run this program once you should not run it again on that computer.

comctl32.exe

This program installs an updated copy of the Microsoft Control comctl32.ocx. You should run this program before installing Summit Pro 2000. After running this program you should register the control by selecting Start, then Run, then entering regsvr32.exe comctl32.ocx and then clicking OK.

eoi.htm

This is a template to use as the basis for an Expression of Interest web page to interface with Summit Pro 2000.

intdev.exe

This program contains a help file with instructions for developers on how to set up the web page interfaces to Summit Pro 2000. The zip file also contains copies of the web page templates.

jetcomp.exe

This is a self-contained program from Microsoft that compacts and repairs Microsoft Access 97 databases. This program may be able to repair some databases that Access 97 cannot repair itself.

mapitest.exe

This file contains a Microsoft Access 97 database called mapitest.mdb which enables you to test the MAPI compliance of the messaging system on your computer. You must have a MAPI compliant messaging system on your computer to utilise the the e-mailing functions in MIE Software products. Microsoft Outlook 97 is an example of a MAPI compliant messaging system. To run this program you must have a full retail copy of Microsoft Access 97 installed on your computer.

offttupd.exe

This is a Microsoft program for updating the fonts in Microsoft Office 97 on Windows 95 systems. It should not be run on Windows 98 or Windows NT systems.

This program installs a copy of the Summit Data Collector without the Microsoft Access 97 runtime components. This should only be run on a computer that already has Microsoft Access 97 installed.

sp2000cr.exe

This program installs a copy of the Summit Data Collector with all the Microsoft Access 97 runtime components. It does not require Microsoft Access 97 to be present on the computer to run.

sp2000d.exe

This program runs a demonstration of Summit Pro 2000.

sp2000l.exe

This program installs a copy of Summit Pro 2000 without the Microsoft Access 97 runtime components. This should only be run on a computer that already has Microsoft Access 97 installed.

sp2000m.exe

This program contains a copy of the Summit Pro 2000 manual in Microsoft Word 97 format.

sp2000r.exe

This program installs a copy of Summit Pro 2000 with all the Microsoft Access 97 runtime components. It does not require Microsoft Access 97 to be present on the computer to run.

This program installs a copy of the Summit Event Viewer without the Microsoft Access 97 runtime components. This should only be run on a computer that already has Microsoft Access 97 installed.

This program contains a copy of the Summit Light manual in Microsoft Word 97 format.

This program contains a copy of the Summit Professional manual in Microsoft Word 97 format.

w95euro.exe

This is a Microsoft program for adding the Euro font to Windows 95 systems. It should not be run on Windows 98 or Windows NT systems.

This program installs the Microsoft Word Viewer. You can use this program to view and print the manuals if you do not have a copy of Microsoft Word 97 on your computer.
