Outlook 2000 and e-mail with MIE software products

To use Outlook 2000 with e-mail in MIE software products, it is necessary that:

  1. Outlook is installed in Corporate or Workgroup mode, not Internet Mail Only mode

  2. CDO support is installed.

To install CDO support

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. In the list, click Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Outlook 2000, and then click Add/Remove.
  4. Click Add or Remove Features.
  5. Click the plus sign (+) next to Microsoft Outlook for Windows to open it.
  6. Click Collaboration Data Objects, and then click Run from My Computer.
