Printing and the Summit Suite of Software

The Summit Suite of Software has no built-in software for printing, it relies on the installed Windows printer drivers that have been supplied by your printer manufacturer.

Given this, there are no Summit software printing error messages - any printer error messages are either Windows System related, or specific to the manufacturer's printer and print driver software.

Summit uses the printer driver you've defined in the Windows Printer Setup. If the printer driver you've selected isn't up-to-date, you might experience printing problems. Be sure you're using the latest printer driver (available from your printer manufacturer).

Check your printer properties
To verify your printer setup properties click Start -> Settings -> Printers and then right click on the printer you wish to check and view it's properties.

Choosing the Page Setup options
Once you have the document you wish to print previewed on the screen, the selections you make in the Print Setup window will determine how the document will look on paper. Generally you can alter options such as page orientation, paper size/margins and print quality.

To access the Print Setup window go to the File menu and choose Print Setup.
