Session screen - when opening, software shuts down

Applies To: Summit Event Manager - Pro using MS Access 2002 SP-3

Symptom

When you attempt to open the Session screen in Setup, the software program will completely close. This can happen every time or intermittently.

Solution

  1. Open Summit Event Manager - Pro with the Shift key held down.

  2. An Access Database window will appear.

  3. Select the Tools menu

  4. Select Options

  5. Under the General tab untick the following boxes:

    • Track name AutoCorrect info

    • Perform name AutoCorrect

    • Log name AutoCorrrect changes

  6. Click the Apply button then OK

  7. Close Access

  8. Reopen Summit Event Manager - Pro

  9. Open Sessions screen.
